Oldham Student of the Year Awards 2019

On Wednesday 8^th May eight students attended a presentation at The Council Chamber with the Worshipful Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Javid Iqbal and the President of the Rotary Club, Oldham Mr Derek Berryman.  This award seeks to recognise those who are making or have made an outstanding contribution to their school, community or family whilst maintaining high standards in their personal lives.  It is not purely about academic achievement.  There were students from nine other schools who collected a certificate but only two outstanding winners.  Olivia, Lucy, Jessica Adam & Isabelle attended from Crompton House, the presentation was wonderful, we all had refreshments afterwards with the Mayor in the Parlour and had chance to browse the treasures of Oldham.
