Our Facilities

The Sixth Form is housed in its own dedicated block, with both study and social spaces.

In our Sixth Form Centre we have

  • The latest ICT equipment available for student use, found in quiet and silent study areas
  • Quiet study room upstairs in the Sixth Form Centre
  • Learning pods for collaborative work, mentoring or working independently
  • A large common room for students to socialise in during break times
  • Dedicated Sixth Form cafe, open all day for easy student access
  • Meeting rooms
  • Mentoring rooms
  • Sixth Form Careers Library, containing university prospectuses and careers information

The Sixth Form Pastoral Team are also based downstairs in the Sixth Form Centre, with staff available throughout the day.

Upstairs in the Sixth Form Centre there are quiet and silent working areas, as well as computer equipment and classrooms used for some Sixth Form Social Science lessons.

All students have access to all whole school facilities, these include:

  • Well-equipped Library offering more ICT facilities and silent work space
  • A bright Art Studio available for Sixth Formers to use during study periods
  • Sports facilities including new multi-use games area
  • Music practice rooms available to book for personal or small ensemble use
  • Two well equipped drama studios
