On 27th June CHS Sixth Form welcomed our new Year 12 students in for a day so they could meet new classmates, go to lessons in their prospective A Level subjects and find out a bit more about what it’s like to be a Sixth Form student.
We appreciate that students also change their minds about subject choices, so students had the flexibility to try lessons in their ‘reserve’ subject or different subjects entirely, as long as they fit the School timetable. If students are still considering their course options, information about the range of courses we offer is available on our website.
With a great buzz in the Sixth Form Centre all day, we hope the students all had a great day and enjoyed the chance to spend time in the subjects they have chosen and learn something new – quite a difference from the intensive revision they have done in the run up to their GCSE exams.
Parents and carers were invited in for a Parent Information Evening, the presentation is available here for those who were unable to attend.
